Event Tech is hiring a full-time Audio Technician who can confidently prep, QC, and run shows.

We’re looking for someone who understands systems, takes pride in clean work, and can step into an A1 role when needed. This position is a mix of warehouse prep and show execution—you’ll be expected to handle both.

What We’re Looking For

Strong understanding of live audio systems (signal flow, PA deployment, RF coordination basics)
Real-world experience running shows as an A1
Familiarity with professional audio gear (JBL, d&b, Digico, Yamaha, Shure, etc.)
Detail-oriented and organized—gear leaves the shop right the first time
Calm under pressure and able to problem solve on show site
Team player with a solid work ethic

What You’ll Be Doing

Prep and QC audio packages for concerts, festivals, and corporate events
Manage firmware updates, console files, and system organization
Work closely with PMs to ensure accurate and complete builds
Maintain and organize audio inventory
A1 / A2 shows depending on scope and schedule

What You’ll Own

This is a hands-on role that lives both in the warehouse and on show site. You’ll be responsible for making sure audio leaves the shop clean, complete, and ready to go—and then executing when it hits the field.

Prep and QC audio packages with the warehouse team so they’re show-ready every time
Maintain gear, firmware, console files, and overall system organization
Work with PMs to make sure builds are accurate and complete before they leave the shop
Step into A1 or A2 roles depending on the show
Help solve problems before they become problems—both in the warehouse and on site
